What to expect
Your proposal is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, and I’m here to make sure it’s captured perfectly. Ahead of the big day, we’ll chat on the phone to make sure everything is set for a smooth surprise.
On the day of your proposal, I’ll arrive at the location 15-20 minutes early to get into position. And then, the moment arrives. You get down on one knee, and I capture the magic moment of that life-changing "yes."
Once you and your now fiancé have had a chance to come back down to earth, I’ll have the honor to capture portraits of you together for the first time as an engaged couple. Think of it as a mini engagement session — I’ll guide you through it, ensuring we capture the joy and love of the moment. If friends or family are nearby, we can grab some group shots too.
Planning to meet loved ones at another location afterward? No problem! We can extend our session to include those moments as well.
I aim to deliver all proposal pictures 24 hours after I’ve departed our session.

Golden Hour! The optimal lighting conditions for beautiful outdoor photographs. Depending on the time of year that window is roughly 1 hour before sunset and 20 minutes after sunset. Conversely, 20 minutes before sunrise through one hour after sunrise is also a beautiful time for sunlight.

I can shoot in rain, snow, clouds or sunshine! It is my job is to capture your special moment, so I won't let weather impact your plans if you're comfortable proceeding in whatever weather Chicago throws our way. If the weather is not cooperative, we will do our best to reschedule.
