There are few things in life that I love more than having my camera in hand and documenting life as it unfolds in front of me. As it should be, food is the true exception to that statement. 

Ever since I was little I’ve been fascinated by cameras. I would tinker with my dad’s point-and-shoot digital camera anytime I could get my hands on it. By trial and error, I taught myself how each button affected the image. This curiosity continued throughout my life. In my teenage years, I taught darkroom photography at my summer camp. I studied media production in college. In my twenties, I worked at ad agencies, production companies, and professional sports teams. 

I’m a visual storyteller, able to freeze moments through still photography or capture core memories through video. Those moments and memories can bring back nostalgia for years to come and transcend generations. It is an honor to be able to help create such profound memories for people.

When it comes to style, I take a photojournalistic, documentary approach to capture intimate, raw, and emotional moments. 

Outside of work, you can find me running on Chicago’s Lakefront Trail, grilling with my friends, smiling at every dog I pass on the sidewalk (I’m a sucker for a cute Border Collie or Australian Shepherd), and traveling to explore our beautiful planet.
